As a follow up to his long awaited 2018 new release “Sphere”, LA based Robot Koch (real name Robert Koch) will release another new one titled “Sphere outtakes” on April 26th. The veteran producer issued outtakes and remixes by other artists from its original, enough to warrant it as new full release in itself. “Sphere Out Takes” is a follow-up to Koch’s recent and highly acclaimed electronic music album “Sphere” which was conceived as the soundtrack to an audio visual live show, made especially to be exhibited in planetariums and full dome venues which sold out in venues from LA to Berlin.
The German born artist, producer and composer has had a prolific recording career, releasing over 50 albums, singles and EPs until he took a break in 2016 – two years before the full album “Sphere”. Personally my favorite recording of his would be the 2009 full album “Death Star Droid”, a manufacturing of terrifying auditory forecasts, where it may emit warmth at times, before unsettling itself in adventure. It was one of an example of influences from different artists that transitioned not just at the turn of the decade, but pivoted from the overpowering influence of late 2000s industry designed dubstep.
Since then, he’s won the German Music Composers Award in 2014 and also had his music featured on movies and TV shows including NBCs “The Blacklist” and ABCs “How to Get Away with Murder”.
Here’s the song ‘Another World’ from the “Sphere Outtakes” album. Watch it below while its still available.
