News – Tycho Announces New LP “Weather” – Headlines Upcoming World Tour – watch new single ‘Pink and Blue’

(May 14, 2019) Electronic music artist Tycho announced the new upcoming album titled “Weather”.  It will be released July 12th on Ninja Tune and the Mom+Pop Music label.

It’s the fifth studio album from one of the better-known chill related artists of the past decade. He also announced a world tour starting in July in Australia and Asia. The “Weather World Tour” includes a US tour which starts in Los Angeles on Labor Day weekend.

The US leg of the tour will feature no appearances in the Southeast.

In addition, a new single ‘Pink & Blue was released. Unlike many of his singles including the last one ‘Easy’, this one features vocals and lyrics from Hannah Cottrel.

“The lines, ‘Oh, pink and blue, you know I look good on you’, originally stemmed from when I was romantically involved with a man and a woman simultaneously, for the first time in my life,” Cottrell explains. “It was a defining moment for me. I went from being a young religious kid who thought she would marry a man to a young woman who realized her love for women. Pink & Blue’ is a love song to no one, to everyone, and to myself. It’s a sweet reminder to all lovers to hold onto their love with open arms; to be fearless about any type of love and to be fearless about losing their love. Love is never lost.”

It was directed by Chloe Corner and stars Saint Sinner. Hansen gets credit for Creative Director.
