Friday, May 24th (2019) is the release date for electronic music artist ELEON‘s new EP “Flight Lounge”. It’s the follow up to his 2018 debut “Dreams Beyond Terra” which featured him on Echoes with John Diliberto and was nominated for Best Chill Grove Album 2018 by Zone Music Reporter.
According to his bio, the journey didn’t happen overnight. In 2008, he just created his first all digital music studio and starting releasing recordings, so many he couldn’t keep count, but nothing official until last year. If you haven’t already, click on the Echoes link above for a short, yet inspirational interview done to promote his first album.
ELEON’s influences range from Glen Campbell Christmas records as a child to Michael Jackson, Nat King Cole and Duran Duran to current music artists Daft Punk, Imogene Heap and Imagine Dragons.
“Flight Lounge” was recorded and mixed by ELEON, and mastered by Cass Anawaty at Sonoran Mastering in Scottsdale, AZ and is on Arizona based Heartdance Records. Last year’s “Dreams Beyond Terra” was hyped as ‘Epic Chill’ and was their first electronic release. John Diliberto called him the prototypical bedroom synthesist.
Watch the video ‘Exotic Vacation’ from “Flight Lounge” below. It’s a clever conspiracy of synths and guitars echoing an earthly vibe to induce copious amounts of lounging. Don’t blame us if you decide to call in sick to work on a whim.
