The life of an (independent run) music blogger and music show podcaster in the real world can be quite overwhelming.  Discovering Mancunian ambient artist Soular Order is a good example.  Click the link that says check out his interview to catch up with the prolific artist. Anywho, I was just about to share his new track ‘Beholder’ released a couple of weeks ago (Sept 20, 2019), only to find out from the Soular Order Facebook page, that he has shared another single today (Sept 30, 2019).

That said, listen to this track below if you haven’t already and then click the link above for his newer single.  “Beholder is an ambient piece about self-reflection. It was written over the course of a few days, and was what actually started the whole EP process,” he says, which apparently is moving on with the release of the 2nd single ‘Downfall’.

To the unfamiliar, Soular Order is said to have a diverse range of influences including Aphex Twin, David Bowie, William Basinski, and Tycho, leading to a unique sound comparable to Brian Eno, Boards of Canada and Sigur Rós.  He also remixed Hans Zimmer’s ‘Time’ track from Inception.

Listen to it below.  It’s released by City By Night Records.
